What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device, usually to remember something between visits. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) requires your consent before any cookie that is not strictly necessary is set.

What this site uses

For visitors, nothing at all. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media trackers. Filter selections on the jobs page are held in the page address rather than stored on your device, which is why a filtered search can be bookmarked and shared.

One cookie exists on the site, and you will never receive it: a sign-in cookie for the private area our own consultants use to manage candidate records. It is set only when a member of staff signs in, is strictly necessary for that sign-in to work, and is never set by any page a visitor can reach.

If we ever add analytics

We would ask you first. Any script that tracks you would be blocked until you agreed to it, and this page would list every cookie, what it is for and how long it lasts, before that script ran at all. Loading a tracker and asking afterwards is the ordinary way this is done, and it is the wrong way round.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Since we set none, doing so will not affect how this site works.
